Son of Matthew and Beverly Centrowitz…Has two siblings, Lauren and Marisza…Father, Matthew, represented Team USA at the 1976 Olympic Games in track and field and is a former All-American distance runner from the University of Oregon...The former University of Oregon Duck turned professional after 2011 and set school records in the 1500m and distance medley relay...Won three Pac-10 titles…An NCAA champion in 2011, placed third in the 1,500 at the 2010 NCAA Championships…Was the first Oregon undergrad since Steve Prefontaine to win a USATF outdoor championship...Sister Lauren was an All-American at Stanford University and professional runner...Centrowitz is the first American to win Olympic gold in the 1500m since 1908...Was inducted into the University of Oregon Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021...is an avid gamer.
